What is an Erasmus + ?
Erasmus+ is the EU's programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe. The aim of Erasmus+ is to contribute to the Europe 2020 strategy for growth, jobs, social equity and inclusion, as well as the aims of ET2020, the EU's strategic framework for education and training.
Our kindergarten is part of the Erasmus Project since August 2019, as a receiving organization. The project we have on right now is part of the “Key Action 1”, it aims to encourage the mobility of students, staff, youth workers, and young people.
Organizations can arrange to send or receive students and staff to or from participating countries, as well as organise teaching, training, learning activities.
Finland has one of the best Education System in the world, and many teachers would like to observe how teachers work in here to be able to implement some of it in their owns countries. The key of the Finnish Education System is how children learn through playing, how we listen their input about what they are interested in. This way we can personalize the themes we are working during the year. Movement and outdoor learning is a must in our daily routine, experiment with their own bodies how to move and discover the environment help them to know more about themselves.
Our education system also defend each child is unique and special, this is why we need to respect the different rhythm of development each of them have.
As a receiving organization we will have some visitors in August and in spring time, they will be teachers from different countries who will observe how do we work and what we do
